Job Shadows are short-term opportunities to learn mroe about an organization and can be a great way to network with hiring employers!

Parking & Transportation Notices

2025 Summer Parking Closures Notification

Construction will occur on Parking Garage 3 and Parking Lots 22 and 23 throughout the upcoming summer. Parking Garage 3 will be closed beginning Thursday, May 1, and is expected to re-open by Saturday, Aug. 16. Parking Lot 22 will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3, and is expected to re-open by Saturday, Aug. 9. Parking Lot 23 will be closed beginning May 3 and is expected to re-open by Aug. 16.


Road Closure and Bus Stop Relocation Notification

St. Lucie Avenue will permanently close for regular traffic effective Thursday, May 8, 2025. A new road, St. Lucie Ave. Extension, will open in July 2026 and allow through traffic to East University Drive. In addition, the St. Lucie Ave. South shuttle bus stop has been relocated from Parking Lot 102 to the circle at Parliament Hall. Access to Parking Garage 2 is only available via Arts Ave. A pedestrian safety access sidewalk will be installed from Parking Lot 28 to the Parliament Hall entrance (north of the construction site for Talon Hall). Parking Lot 28 is only accessible via Arts Ave.

School of the Environment Scholarship

Apply for the new WLW Environment and Student Success Scholarship! Undergraduate à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã with a demonstrated interest in environmental science can apply for up to $7,500 in support for the Fall 2025 semester. Summer 2025 Drug Free Notification

Florida Atlantic is committed to providing a campus environment free from alcohol abuse and the illegal use of alcohol and other drugs. FAU has adopted and implemented programs that seek to prevent the illicit use of drugs and alcohol abuse by university community members.

FAU distributes a semesterly notification to all à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã, faculty and staff on policies related to alcohol, other drugs and weapons. It can be found here. This notification contains important and helpful information on the health risks associated with the use of illicit drugs and alcohol abuse, as well as contact information to get help.
