International How to Apply

There are two ways to apply and then pay the $30 non-refundable application fee when you submit your application:

International à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã applying for their first year in college can use the

International à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã interested in transferring to FAU or earning their second bachelor’s degree can apply using the FAU Application.

** Please note à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã should submit only one application

Submit your academic credentialsÌý

First time incoming international à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã MUST have their high school records, including courses/subjects and grades completed throughout the entire high school career and exam results (e.g. CXC/GCSES), evaluated and submitted by a NACES accredited evaluation agency.

The equivalency evaluation must be course-by-course and include a grade point average. You can find more information about international credentials here.Ìý

Students who have foreign post-secondary coursework have the option of requesting an internal evaluation completed by a FAU foreign credential evaluator or submitting a NACES accredited evaluation (the equivalency evaluation must be course-by-course and include a grade point average).

Submit official test scores (Students who have earned fewer than 60 transferable credits)

Test scores must be sent directly from the testing institution (College Board, ACT, or CLT). Test scores must be from test dates within the last 5 years. Test scores older than 5 years cannot be accepted for admissions evaluation purposes.

Submit an English Proficiency Exam

Students whose first language is not English, must submit English proficiency test scores. For à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã not meeting the English proficiency, please use our Conditional Admissions Track (CAT) Intensive English Institute.
