To enhance interdisciplinary and collaborative research, Florida Atlantic established four university-wide research institutes focused on its strengths. These areas are dedicated to improving and addressing diseases of the brain, enhancing human health and quality of life, protecting the oceans and environment locally and globally, and using sensors to study and monitor the world around us.
