Department of Biomedical Science
The Department of Biomedical Science is committed to the growth of research and scholarship in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and within Florida Atlantic University. The Department of Biomedical Science (BMS) is the basic science research and teaching arm of the Schmidt College of Medicine.
Department of Clinical Neurosciences
We prepare the next generation of doctors and allied health professionals to advance healthcare through the practice of evidence-based medicine while fostering patient safety and the principles of quality improvement. Our areas of expertise include Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry.
Department of Emergency Medicine
The Department of Emergency Medicine consists of academic and community faculty who work together to achieve new levels of excellence in emergency care for South Florida. Our faculty have trained throughout the country and are fellowship-trained in multiple emergency medicine subspecialties.
Department of Medicine
We are a dynamic and versatile group of internists, family medicine physicians, and subspecialists committed to education, patient care, and research. We aim to provide outstanding medical education and training of our à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã, residents, and fellows so they, too, become humanistic physicians.
Department of Population Health and Social Medicine
We are committed to being recognized as a global leader. We are a dynamic group of clinicians, researchers, and scholar educators who are committed to improving the health of the communities we serve, including under-served and historically excluded populations.
Department of Surgery
The Department of Surgery's first and foremost goal is to train highly qualified surgical specialists and future leaders that can draw from a broad-based educational experience to provide evidence-based, high-quality, cost-effective care to patients with a wide range of surgical diseases.
Department of Women's and Children's Health
We are a department of compassionate and energetic educators, clinicians, researchers and scholars who collectively serve as advocates for advancing the health and wellbeing of women and children in our region and across the nation.
